CALL TO WORSHIP

One: Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
All: We come today with our eyes cleared, ready to see the glory of the Son.
One: We have come to praise the risen one who calls us to follow him.
All: To the one seated on the throne and to the lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever. Amen.

OPENING PRAYER/PRAYER OF INVOCATION

Oh God, we come to you today with our eyes opened to see your face. Our ears hear your commands as our voices sing your praise. Help us to understand what we struggle to comprehend: what it means to live life in you. May we listen to the old stories as someone who can hear for the first time again. Amen.
CALL TO CONFESSION

We can do no wrong that God has not seen or forgiven before. Let us empty our storehouse of sins before the Lord.
PRAYER OF CONFESSION

Gracious God, we are blind to you and to our neighbors. We don’t understand that you have filled us with more than enough to feed others. We ignore your lambs. We dismiss your sheep. Yet you still come to us wanting us to help you. Forgive our wrongs. Help us live beyond our shortcomings. Lead us into new life following you and your way ever more each day. Amen.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON

Dear ones, Christ comes to us even before we can see him. Know that even where you are, Christ is on the shore loving you, forgiving you, and waiting for you to join him. Know that in the name of Jesus Christ your sins are forgiven.  Alleluia  amen.

CALL FOR THE OFFERING

Our nets have been filled to the brim with blessings not of our own deserving or even doing. Let us now come with thankful hearts and give back to the one who gives all.

PRAYER OF DEDICATION

Lord God, use what we have brought back today and use us to further your kingdom.   Out of our love for you may we faithfully use what has even brought forward  to feed your lambs and tend your sheep. All praise, glory and honor to you. Amen.
INVITATION TO THE TABLE

Christ calls us to this feast. This is the table to which we are all invited by our Savior that has been handed down to us. Each new generation has been lambs fed and faithfully gone on to feed others. Come to this table of our Lord in the company of all the saints who have gone before us. Come and be fed.
